The Show:
- Is the fifth series really the last?
Yes. Nine Network have confirmed that the fifth series will be the last. The main reason series 5 will be the last is due to a tax rebate the series will no longer be eligible for. - Was anything done to try and save the show?
Yes. Sea-Patrol.com organised a petition to send to Nine Network Australia. The petition was 189 pages long and consisted of 1935 signatures from all over the world. Unfortunately our petition went unanswered. At this time Sea-Patrol.com has no plans to organise a new petition, as the producers and actors have moved on. - When does the show air?
Series one premiered on Thursday 5th of July 2007 at 8:30pm in Australia. Series two premiered on Monday 31st of March 2008 at 8.30pm. Series three premiered on Monday 18th of May 2009 at 8.30pm. Series 4 premiered on Thursday April 15th 2010 at 8.30pm. Series 5 premiered on Tuesday 26th 2011 at 8.30pm. Overseas fans should check local guides. - How many episodes?
The first three series of Sea Patrol contained 13 episodes. A single mystery ran throughout the 13 episodes, and as such, Sea Patrol was classified as a mini-series. Series 4 changed to 16 episodes, and dropped the mini series format. - How many series will air?
